ePayment Virtual Terminal

ePayment Virtual Terminal allows authorized merchants to process credit card payments and issue refunds from designated computers, via a web-based "Virtual Terminal". If you do not have a website, have low sale volumes, or if your transactions are predominantly conducted through fax, telephone, and regular mail, then ePayment Virtual Terminal should be suitable for you. All processes and procedures involving ePayment is subject to UBC PCI DSS compliancy.

Overview

In order to purchase an item, register for a conference, or pay a fee, your customer will either fax, call, or send through posted mail credit card information to you. Once recieved, you will log into a computer that has been designated as a Virtual Terminal machine, bring up the web based Virtual Terminal and enter in the payment details to process the payment. ePayment will authorize this payment in real time and the Virtual Terminal will display a transaction receipt. Once a day, the appropriate accounting journals are automatically generated by ePayment for all authorized transactions and will be sent to Workday / UBC's financial system.. After you process this payment, you will dispose of the payment information in accordance with PCI DSS requirements.
